I have made several new contacts through this, which is great! Visit to Hwange
I had the opportunity to visit Hwange NP from the 7th - 9th March and was delighted to see that the park has recovered after last year’s drought and is looking very green. Most water pans are full to the brim at the moment and the wildlife is looking very content. However, this situation will only last a short time once the rains stop and the pans will start drying up. This is when we will need to start pumping to provide the wildlife with drinking water. We have to use this opportunity to repair as many pumps, engines and troughs as possible before we start pumping so this month we will start purchasing equipment, tools, new engines and pumps, so when Mario starts in April he will have a flying start!
Thank you!
We would like to thank the following companies and individuals
for their generous donations:
- Preston Transport
- Produtrade
- TM Supermarkets
- Chris Venturas of Byron Venturas & Partners
- Safari Par Excellence
On behalf of the trustees, I would like to thank you for your support!
Best Regards, Maha
