Dear Friends of Hwange, 

Another 2 waterholes (Makwa and Mabuya Mabena) are up and running, therefore 7 waterholes in total are currently being pumped on a 14 hour shift. Next week another 2 new pumps are being installed by Mario at Inyantue and Tshompanie. Mario has been busy maintaining and refuelling the other pumps that were already pumping. 

We are currently ordering lots of Dipco and Lister spares in South Africa, to keep the engines running during the dry season. We are hoping for them to arrive in Hwange by the end of the month. 
  
Friends of Hwange would also like to mention and thank Wildlife and Environment Zimbabwe, for their wonderful donation towards repairing the Kennedy 1 windmill. Their help in liaising with National Parks, in obtaining relevant permits for Mario to work in the Park has been tremendous. 

The Mitsubishi Fuso will be returned at the end of the month to Naledi Motors in Botswana. We would like to thank them for the use of the truck for the last 6 months - THANK YOU!

A shed to hold spares in Hwange 
torque wrenches x 3 
3m lengths 16mm drive shafts and couplings for water pumps 
50mm bobbin bearings 
50mm (inside diameter) column to bore casing stabilizers 
Rotor stater sets for BH 30 pump or complete pumps 
Monostroom MK2 heads complete 
3m lengths 50mm galvanised, water pipe 
10 and 12 gauge welding rods 
75mm, 70mm and 50mm x12mm steel bolts (rough thread), lock nuts washers 
Ant kill 
1000 liter plastic cylindrical fuel tanks x 2 
210 liter empty drums 
spring washers 
jubilee clips 
50mm and 25mm brass gate valves
